We’ve been expecting you.” I love hearing those words. It’s safe to say I’ve been obsessed with hotels my entire life – not just the design, but the style, the scent, the music playing, the service, the overall vibe. I dive in deep.

I’m excited to announce I am embarking on my first hotel – I’m not just designing it, I own it! I saw the Madrona Manor in Healdsburg on Memorial Day 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. I fell in love and, through a series of fortunate events, have put together an incredible team of partners, investors and true believers and we closed on the property in February of this year.

Originally built as a private estate for John and Hannah Paxton in 1882, the property is 8 acres and houses 6 separate buildings including a Michelin-starred restaurant. I am so looking forward to bringing this Grande Dame back to her former glory and welcoming you soon for cocktails on the porch.
