This home on Lake Michigan was built over 100 years ago by the Baker Furniture family, and before our remodel, hadn’t been touched in almost 40 years! Knowing the home will be passed down for generations, I wanted to create something that’s at once timeless, comfortable and fun! We preserved the log cabin charm by restoring original log walls, restoring the original stone, and even keeping the signature pink door for a fun pop of color. To expand and modernize, we added on a bedroom bunk wing, new ceilings in all guest rooms, and a fun “Beach Shack” for impromptu dance parties!
